The app

Prixm is a Mac app that adds ambient light around the edges of your screen in response to the music you play. It is an independent product, sold directly through this website by Ansh Kaushik, based in Delhi, India, and not through the Mac App Store.

Your licence

When you buy Prixm, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on one Mac you own or control at a time. To move it to another Mac, choose Deactivate This Mac in the Prixm menu on the first Mac, then activate it on the new one. If your Mac is lost or broken, email us and we'll reset it. Prixm is licensed to you, not sold, and we keep all rights not expressly granted here.

Purchases and pricing

Prixm is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Prices are shown on this website and may differ by region. Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider, and any taxes or bank charges are shown or applied at checkout. We may change prices for future purchases. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Updates

Your purchase includes all future Prixm updates we release, at no extra cost. We can't promise how often updates will come, or that Prixm will support every future version of macOS.

Requirements and compatibility

Prixm requires macOS 14.2 or later · Apple Silicon, and needs your permission to analyse your Mac's system audio. It isn't notarized by Apple, so macOS asks you to approve it the first time you open it. Prixm relies on macOS features that Apple can change, so some features may stop working after a macOS update. Please check the requirements before buying.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, share or redistribute Prixm or any licence for it;
• bypass any licensing, activation or download protection;
• reverse engineer Prixm, except where the law allows this regardless of these terms;
• use Prixm or this website unlawfully or to harm others.

Music, artwork and lyrics

Prixm displays artwork from the music you play and lyrics retrieved from LRCLIB, a free public lyrics service that we don't own or control and that isn't affiliated with Prixm. Artwork and lyrics belong to their respective owners, and Prixm gives you no rights in them.

Because lyrics come from LRCLIB, we aren't responsible for its content or availability. Lyrics may be missing, inaccurate or out of time, and may be unavailable when LRCLIB is down or busy. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and other services named on this website are trademarks of their owners and aren't affiliated with Prixm.

Disclaimer and liability

Prixm is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those required by law. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Prixm. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Ending your licence

Your licence ends if you break these terms or if your purchase is refunded. You must then stop using Prixm and delete it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
